Welcome to Le Saint Jean!

At Le Saint Jean, guests do not merely come to dine; they come to experience a unique atmosphere. The kind of Parisian brasserie we cherish, nestled in the heart of Les Abbesses, where Montmartre has retained its village spirit.

Behind the large windows and comfortable banquettes, one encounters all generations: the regulars, neighbors stopping by for a coffee, and visitors from all walks of life who fall in love with the neighborhood.

Here, guests raise a toast, share laughter, and savor delicious homemade dishes in a friendly, unpretentious manner. Guests gather for a morning coffee, a lunch with friends, a lingering aperitif, or a lively dinner. In short, the moment is celebrated with authenticity.

Our story

Le Saint Jean is the story of a Parisian brasserie… but also that of a family. Established by an Aveyronnais father, Robert, who settled in Paris in the 1950s, Le Saint Jean became one of Montmartre’s liveliest brasseries in the 1980s.

Taken over by his son Franck in 1997, it has evolved without ever losing its soul as a neighborhood brasserie.

Today, Le Saint Jean is writing a new chapter, blending Parisian conviviality with the flavors of Aveyron.

The smile is homemade.
